RECO Industries is a registered company situated in Western Uganda with the head office in Kampala. It consists of group of companies that is involved in different sectors of Uganda�s stable Economy: Food Processing; Papain Enzyme Extractions; Coffee Processing and Export; and RECO Foam Mattresses

The Company has a business history extending over 25 years with assets worth well over USD 5.0M and still growing. It has 100 Employees working in its various divisions. 50% of them are skilled and the rest are semi skilled.

RECO Industries is Uganda’s leading manufacturer of food products that include; fresh fruit juices (both tropical and exotic), Concentrates, Jams, Marmalades, Chili and Ketchup.

Agriculture Development
Reco Industries Ltd., pursues a vigorious policy in the development of agro-based industries.
Agriculture specialists extend services to approximately 15,000 outgrowers with the intention of stimulating rural development. Reco's Food Processing Division assures farmers of a ready market for their fruits and vegetable.

Export Division

Fruits and Vegetable
The fruits and vegetable we offer are organically grown, and they get their rare good taste from the soil and climate of the region where they are grown. Our packing plant is near a Railway Terminal and very close to an Airport. This location gives Reco an advantage of timely delivering its Agricultural produce to the Export Market and when the products are as fresh as from the fields.

RECO grows on its farm Pineapples, Bananas, Passion Fruits and vegetables to supplement quantities produced on our farm. Our Farm Technical staff work with the National Agricultural Research Organisation staff to develop products which meet quality requirments of our customers. Handling and selection of produce from various farms, up to the market, is done by skilled personnel. We have a HACCP system in place to ensure production of safe products for customers.

Compagnie Indusrielle des Products Agricole
A recent established factory in Eastern Democratic of Congo, C.I.P.A's flagship handles papain extraction and processing. C.I.P.A. will also carry out activities aimed at promoting and modernising agriculture of non-traditional export.
